Wino Wednesday: Blanc Sec 6-pack…

30 Jun

Nothing says high class like screw tops, plastic bottles, and of course a wine with no name (Blanc Sec = Dry white).  We picked up this Spanish table wine at a small grocer near our appartment.

Wine: Blanc Sec (Spanish table wine)

Where’d we buy it: Ed (grocery store)

How much did it cost: $2.67

Why did we pick it: hello! plastic bottles? They’re like grown up juice packs to throw in your lunch!

Was it good: Honestly, yes. We’re not really white wine drinkers (not sure why), but this was quite good wine, although we’re pretty sure it actually wasn’t all that dry as stated in the name.  Anyways, the convenience of the bottles was a definite bonus, great for picnics and easier to store in our pint size fridge.

Pretty classy with the plastic bottles…. however,I agree so handy to pack in a purse. I think I’ve heard them referred to as “mommy’s juice box”.
