DIY High Chair

12 Jul

When moving to France for three months, you obviously can’t bring a high chair, and we really felt that we’d do fine without on.  One month on, and many, many spilt dinners, C decided we needed a high chair, immediately.  Although we could have made the trip out to Ikea, being the crafty type, I was up for the challenge!

Armed with a leatherman and a roll of duct tape, I whipped together the world’s first tupperware bin High Chair, all for the low price of $6.50!  There’s even some suspension in the seat back so that she can lounge when tired (oh how she loves to lounge).  So is it comfortable? Well this was her after her first meal in it (actually she didn’t even finish the meal…)

This is a fantastic idea! You could market this…expect for the safety issues 🙂

That is amazing! I wonder if you could make adult sized ones…but then again I am not sure what you would use it for…

I love the high chair. So glad to hear you’re having a good time – and glad to be able to read your blog. Tres bien! Merci!
