Lesson #2: Tarte Passion-Framboise

Technically, this treat was created on AK’s first birthday, but I didn’t think a passionfruit and raspberry tarte would be appropriate (chocolate cake is called for in this particular occasion)…that is why we had it for lunch dessert!   The top layer is a passionfruit cream over a layer of jellied raspberry coulis.  My crust was too thick but it definitely did not affect the taste, still delicious all the same.

This semester will hopefully bring a bit more interesting food photography.  Now that we are in a bigger, brighter apartment, I have given D creative license with my desserts.  More eye candy coming soon…
