Parc Montsouris

10 Oct

Another beautiful fall day in Paris so we decided to head off to yet another park.  Hopping on the metro, we took the line to it’s end just on the edge of Paris to Parc Montsouris.  It’s a large parc by Parisian standards, but was much more like something we’d be used to seeing back home.  It had a much more natural look to it than most parks in Paris do, much less manicured.

After a quick picnic in which AK managed to figure out how to climb back into the stroller (although still wasn’t happy when we buckled her in…), we headed off for a walk around the park.  It has a small lake which apparently hides an alternative entrance to the catacombs.  AK had a good time in the playground and then it was back home on a long and hot metro ride.
