Where do you go to get english books in Paris? Well there’s actually a W.H. Smith just across from the Tuileries. AK has recently developed a love for books, and seeing as we only have a few of them, it gets kind of boring for us (she couldn’t care less) reading the same books 25 times a day. We still had some money left over from Auntie E’s birthday money so we headed off to find her some new books.
I was hoping for something with some good plot development, maybe a cunning twist at the end… C was hoping it just wouldn’t be Barnyard Dance…. In the end we decided on Peter Rabbit (in board book format) and The Snowy Day. As we headed for the till, we say their “British” food section. We grabbed some kettle chips and C couldn’t resist her beloved cheerios (surprisingly impossible to find in Paris).
We stopped off at the kids park in les Tuileries where AK made a new friend (shocking, I know) who shared cotton candy with her.
