To be honest, the name of this dessert was much longer but I can’t seem to remember all of the extra elements. What I do recall is that this cake consists of all of my favourite French dessert elements – macaron, mousse au chocolat noir and pistachio (I really love just about anything pistachio). It is essentially an enormous macaron with dark chocolate mousse sandwiched between the layers and a lovely little surprise of pistachio creme brulee in the middle…to die for.
The unfortunate part of the situation is that the cake was simply too big. Yes, this can be an issue when you little to no will power. The cake was demolished in such a short period of time that I’m too embarrassed to note it.
