Tartes Kluger

14 Nov

If I could choose any area to live in here in Paris, I would have to pick the Marais – and more specifically, the ‘haute Marais’.  There is a vibe there that I just love.  It’s seems small and quaint with cute little shops and cafes lining the narrow roads (sorry, that describes almost all of Paris). The cool kids live and flock there and it shows.  A lot of expats are opening coffee and gelato shops – there a little foodie type cafes and book and design stores.  It’s my kind of neighbourhood.

I ventured to meet J there one day and have lunch at Tartes Kluger…quite simply, tarts, tarts and more tarts.  There are both savory and sweet in a long list of flavours.  You eat lunch at long communal tables and can duck over to the small cookbook section whilst you wait.  It’s adorable, priced well and most importantly, delicious!
