After our espresso machine purchase, we quickly realized that the cups supplied with our apartment would simply not do. While they are technically cups, they are more like large bowls with handles on them. A serving of espresso in one of these looked absurd, and also was stone cold in seconds…
While on a walk, we saw a Habitat store. We had thought these were only in the UK, but apparently they are much more widespread. Several years ago in London, we had been on the lookout for some cappuccino cups and we walked into Habitat and found two, but that’s all they had left. We decided it was fate and bought the pair on the spot.
Walking into the dinnerware section, we saw many possibilities, but there on a low shelf C found two bright orange espresso cups, only two left, must be a sign no doubt!
